On Thursday 9th August, H.H. 17th Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje, leader of the Karma Kagyu school, celebrated with Lama Ole Nydahl and 3,000 of their Buddhust students. They were celebrating 40 years since Lama Nydahl first began teaching Diamond Way Buddhism in Denmark, at the encouragement of H.H. 16th Karmapa. In the four decades since, more than 630 Diamond Way Buddhist centers have been opened across the globe.

Lama Nydahl recently spoke to Deanmark’s Lorry TV about the 40th anniversary of Diamond Way Buddhism in Denmark, and his journey in Buddhism.
