Urban couture label DressAddict by Artem & Victor has just launched its new menswear collection.
Founded in Kiev in 2012 by designer Artem Gryshchenko and Victor Victorov, DressAddict initially focused exclusively on womenswear. But with the label quickly becoming the choice of Kiev’s movie stars and literati, the designers recognized the need to add a men’s line.
“Busy,” “creative” with “talent and ambition,” is how Artem describes DressAddict’s male clientele.
“We want people to express themselves by wearing DressAddict apparel,” Artem says “To show other people who they are and to feel unique in every step they take in their lives.”
Because of the label’s emphasis on quality and feel, as well as cut, DressAddict has continued to use mostly Italian fabric, including stretch jersey and knitwear.
However, the label has made one big change. Known for its monochromatic collections, DressAddict has introduced a number of colors this season. “During the development of our latest collection,” says Artem, “we started paying attention to bright fabrics. The first one was a bright lemon color. Then the next one was bright red. Our male customers have really responded to our ‘bright experience’. We’ve even received a lot of attention and orders from as far away as the Middle East.”
