Beauty meets sustainability in the work of LA-based jewelry design label LZZR.
Worn by musician’s American Authors, fashion bloggers Viviere Bella, Stylists Emily + Merritt, Actress Grace Helbig and others, LZZR jewelry is crafted in repurposed bronze and copper scrap material found in a local metals factory in the Los Angeles area.
The LZZR line includes sculptural rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Lizz Roberts, the designer behind LZZR, avoids chemicals harmful to the environment, using lemon juice and salt to clean up oxidation.
She also believes in the beauty of imperfections, from the patina created through wear, to the subtle nicks and irregularities of the creative process, which she describes as her “brushstrokes.”
LZZR has just launched about five new additions to its line, with some of the brands newest jewelry pieced crafted in 10k gold and sterling silver, and others in repurposed bronze and copper scrap material found in a local metals factory in the Los Angeles area.
